These are our default standard terms and conditions.

Bank Deposits
Please notify us via email with your bank transfer details when paying by Direct Bank Deposit... please use your name or order number as a reference with all payments.
If your bank transfer details are not received within 3 business days your order will be cancelled.
SustainHealth Academy Cancellation / Refund and Seminar Credit Policy
Cancellation and Refunds
Refunds – all payments (AUD and international)
For seminars paid in Australian dollars (AUD) or in other currencies (including but not limited to United States dollars (USD), Malaysian ringgit (MYR), British pounds (GBP) and Japanese yen (JPY)):
- Cancellations more than 14 days before the seminar start date are eligible for a refund of the seminar fee, minus a 10% administration fee.
- No refunds are available for cancellations made within 14 days of the seminar start date.
- Deposits are non‑refundable, except if the seminar is cancelled by SustainHealth Academy.
- Non‑attendance: No refunds are available for non‑attendance.
Currencies, conversion and payment processing fees
Seminar fees and refunds are calculated based on the seminar fee amount charged at checkout in the original transaction currency (for example AUD, USD, MYR, GBP or JPY), excluding any bank, card issuer, foreign exchange or other processing fees. These additional fees are set and retained by the relevant payment provider and are not part of the seminar fee. They are not refundable.
Changes in exchange rates between the date of purchase and the date of any refund may result in the AUD (or other local currency) amount we return being higher or lower than the original equivalent amount. SustainHealth Academy is not responsible for any loss or gain arising from these exchange rate movements.
Seminar Credits
Seminar credits – AUD payments
Where a cancellation of an AUD‑priced seminar is received more than 14 days before the seminar start date and a seminar credit is requested instead of a refund:
- A 100% seminar credit may be issued for the seminar fee paid in AUD (no administration fee deducted from the credit).
- The credit is valid for 12 months from the original payment date.
- The credit can be applied towards eligible future seminars priced in AUD, subject to availability and any price differences at the time of re‑booking.
Seminar credits – international payments (USD, MYR, GBP, JPY and other non‑AUD currencies)
For payments made in a currency other than AUD (including USD, MYR, GBP and JPY):
- Seminar credits are issued and held in the same currency as the original seminar fee (for example a USD credit for a USD‑priced seminar, a MYR credit for a MYR‑priced seminar).
- These credits are only applicable to seminars priced in that same currency, subject to availability and any price differences at the time of re‑booking.
- Credits are valid for 12 months from the original payment date, unless otherwise stated.
Use of international credits across currencies (based on the exchange rate on the day of use)
In limited cases, an international seminar credit may be approved to be applied to a seminar priced in a different currency (for example, using a USD or MYR credit towards an AUD‑priced seminar in Australia). Where this is approved:
- The credit value will be converted at the prevailing exchange rate on the day the credit is applied to the new seminar.
- Any exchange rate differences and any fees or charges applied by the customer’s bank, card issuer, payment gateway or currency provider in connection with this conversion are the responsibility of the customer.
Seminar Credit Transfer and Limitations
- Seminar credits can only be used once and cannot be transferred to another person.
- Credits must be used within 12 months from the original seminar cancellation date, unless otherwise stated. Credits not used within this period will be forfeited.
- Seminar credits cannot be converted to cash under any circumstances. They may only be applied towards eligible seminars in accordance with this policy.
Academy Cancels an Event
If SustainHealth Academy cancels a seminar:
- A full refund of the seminar fee will be offered.
- Any costs related to travel, accommodation or other personal expenses remain the responsibility of the attendee.
Payment Plans – Kickstart & Subscription via Stripe
By choosing the “Kickstart Plan” payment option:
1. Initial Payment (Kickstart Plan)
- The initial Kickstart payment is refundable, minus a 10% administration fee, if cancellation is requested more than 14 days before the seminar.
- If cancellation is requested within 14 days of the seminar, the payment is non-refundable.
2. Stripe Subscription Installments
- The remaining balance of your seminar fee will be automatically deducted via Stripe on the scheduled installment date(s) provided on the seminar page at the time of purchase.
- You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds are available on those dates.
3. Cancellation Timing for Installment Refunds
To be eligible for a refund (less a 10% admin fee) of an upcoming installment, your cancellation request must be:
- Received and acknowledged by SustainHealth Academy at least 7 business days before the scheduled installment date.
- Requests sent outside of business hours (weekends or public holidays) will be considered received on the next business day.
- If a cancellation request is received less than 7 business days before the installment date and the payment is processed, the installment will still be refunded minus a 10% administration fee.
4. Final Note
- Refunds are not available on any payments made within 14 days of the seminar start date, regardless of when cancellation is received.
- Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be initiated within five business days by SustainHealth Academy. Once initiated, Stripe and your financial institution may take an additional 5–10 business days to return the funds to your account.
Seminar Credit Transfer Policy
- Seminar Credit Transfers: Seminar credits can only be used once and cannot be transferred to another seminar.
- Transfer Window: Credit transfers must be requested at least 14 days before the seminar date. Requests made within 14 days of the seminar will not be considered.

Validity Period: All credits must be used within 12 months of the original seminar cancellation date. Credits not used within this period will be forfeited.
Coupon Policy
- Please note that only one coupon can be applied per product. Multiple coupons cannot be combined for a single item. No cross promotion applies.
Seminar Schedule and Travel Arrangements
- Seminar Dates: Please be aware that seminar dates are subject to change. A confirmation of the seminar schedule will be sent to registered attendees 6-8 weeks prior to the seminar date. We urge you to wait for this confirmation before making any travel or accommodation arrangements.
- Travel and Accommodation: SustainHealth Academy is not responsible for reimbursing any costs related to flights or accommodation. Attendees are advised to make flexible or refundable travel and accommodation bookings where possible to minimise potential losses in the event of a seminar schedule change.
Recording Policy
- No photography, audio or video recording allowed.
Seating Arrangements
- Seating priority is based on the order of registration. The earlier you register, the closer to the front your seat will be.
Registration
- Our seminars are open to registered Chinese medicine practitioners, Acupuncturists and Chinese medicine students (if you have not attended a SustainHealth Academy seminar in the past, expect a registration email within 2 business days)
