A Different Way of Approaching Complex Conditions
This webinar is for Acupuncturists who want a clearer framework for treating neurological and complex conditions — especially when local points, standard protocols, or pattern-based treatment alone are not producing consistent results.
Many Acupuncturists are trained to think in terms of local points or isolated patterns, yet still struggle when faced with neurological or complex conditions that do not respond as expected. In this session, you will be introduced to Zhu's Scalp Acupuncture not as a technique, but as a complete system of neuro-regulation.
You will learn how ZSA approaches the body from a top-down perspective, where the brain governs function, recovery, and coordination. Rather than separating classical principles from neurological function, ZSA uses concepts such as regulating Shen and Qi to guide real-time clinical decisions in movement, function, and recovery.
You will gain clarity on the core principles of ZSA, including regulating the Shen and regulating Qi, and how these are applied clinically through both needling and guided movement (Dao Yin). This integration allows Acupuncturists to move beyond point selection and into a more precise and responsive treatment strategy.

Direct Disciples of Professor Zhu
Dr Ru Shan Shy and Dr Sheng Chun Chang were personally trained by Professor Ming Qing Zhu, the founder of Zhu's Scalp Acupuncture. Both continue to teach and practise ZSA at the highest clinical level.
Dr Ru Shan Shy directs Zhen Ding Shan Chinese Medicine Clinic in Taiwan, where he has trained alongside and under Professor Zhu in hospital and clinical settings for decades. He has taught ZSA to over 2,000 students across Asia, America, Australia, and Europe, and lectures on clinical applications at China Medical University, Taiwan.
